On the first Monday of each month, the men of Grace, and the men of our sister congregation of St. Paul, get together for a brief Bible Study, business meeting, snack dinner, and cards. The card game of choice is Ten-Up. Dues are 50¢ per month, payable at each meeting. The Grace-St. Paul Men's Club is loosely affiliated with the Lutheran Layman's League.
Grace Ladies Aid was organized in 1932. The purpose of the organization is to help in charitable work and promote mission work of the church, to study God's Word, and promote Christian Fellowship. Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, usually at 1:30pm. Pastor leads a brief devotion, followed by the business meeting, then the hostess for the month serves light refreshments. There are no set dues, a freewill offering is given. These offerings are used for charitable work in God's kingdom. Mite Box offerings are taken quarterly, a Red Sock offering is taken in December. The Ladies Aid is associated with Lutheran Women's Missionary League - Lutheran Women in Mission.
The high school youth of Grace, together with the youth from St. Paul - Strasburg and Trinity - Stewardson, gather monthly during the school year for business meetings, fundraising activities and recreational activities. Business meetings are usually conducted on the first Wednesday of each month. Annual fundraisers include a Spaghetti Dinner in November, Soup Dinner in February, Easter Sunrise Breakfast in April (or March), and an Ice Cream Social at the Strasburg Homecoming in July. Proceeds from the fundraisers help support the youth group in their activities, as well as assisting those youth who attend Higher Things Conferences and the LCMS National Youth Gathering.
